Secretary of State Shirley Weber has downplayed a request from Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis to take away Donald Trump from the California major poll, citing “advanced authorized points” concerned.

“Whereas we are able to agree that the assault on the Capitol and the previous President’s involvement was abhorrent, there are advanced authorized points surrounding this matter,” Weber stated in a letter on Friday.

On Wednesday Kounalakis known as for California to observe Colorado’s lead in eradicating the previous President from the March 5 poll.
