The San Diego State ladies’s lacrosse workforce will be part of the Large 12 Convention as an affiliate member, it was introduced Wednesday.

The Aztecs are considered one of six groups who will play within the Large 12 for its inaugural season of lacrosse for the 2024-25 marketing campaign, becoming a member of Arizona State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida, and UC Davis, a press release from SDSU learn.

“We’re excited to be becoming a member of the Large 12 as an affiliate member,” head coach Kylee White stated. “As we proceed to construct our model, we’re honored to symbolize the Large 12 in its first season of lacrosse subsequent 12 months.”

The transfer continues the unfold of SDSU sports activities throughout a number of conferences, together with the Mountain West Convention and Pac-12 — a part of a nationwide shift in convention alignments.

SDSU doesn’t have an official males’s lacrosse workforce, as an alternative fielding a membership workforce.
